Children’s Heritage LLC turns distressed houses into homes through
investing in select small properties. The LLC also contributes to
selective educational activities made widely-available to the public by

Cincinnati-based non-profit or not-for-profit organizations.

Located in desirable neighborhoods within Wyoming Ohio, Delhi Ohio, Versailles Indiana, Arlington Virgina, and headquartered in Glendale Ohio.

WHO WE ARE

RANCE G. DUKE

Rance says, “I want to give back to the community that I’ve made my home in
Southwestern Ohio.” 

 

This he does with stellar service on the Boards of The Bethesda Inc., Cincinnati Art Museum, Port of Greater Cincinnati Development Authority, Spring Grove Cemetery and Arboretum, and TriHealth. Rance retired from Fort Washington Investment Advisors, Inc. after working there and for The Western & Southern Financial Group. While there he served on the Community Advisory Board for Hospice of Cincinnati, YMCA Board of Trustees, was Vice Chair of the United Way and Community Chest and was in the first class of the African American Leadership Development Program of the Urban League of Greater Cincinnati.

He earned a law degree from the University of Connecticut, Master of Business
Administration in Finance from The Wharton School / University of Pennsylvania, and a
joint Bachelor of Arts degrees in Economics and History from Fisk University.
Recognized for his service, Rance recently received TriHealth’s Goler Award, the 2025
Men of Honor Award, and several others over the years.

 

 “Fortunately,” he says, “I earned a nice living in the investment markets and continue to benefit from financial analyses which guide transformative investments that turn small houses into homes.”

MARILYN A.
HUTTON DUKE

Marilyn's activities convince her that cultivated gardening enhances property values and
qualities of living.

 

She serves on the boards of Bethesda Foundation, Cincinnati Shakespeare Company,
Cincinnati Woman’s Club Foundation, and a private foundation. In recent years she 
completed her elected terms on the Christ Church Glendale Vestry. She also completed
service on the Cincinnati Woman’s Club Executive Board, serving as First Vice President,
chairing the club's Grounds Committee, and serving on its Investment Committee. Around then
she completed her official terms with the Village Gardeners of Glendale, Glendale Village
Council, and as co-chair of Art in Bloom for the Cincinnati Art Museum.

 

Before retiring from the National Education Association, she served as a trustee on NEA &
affiliates employee pension board, a member of the State of Virginia Coal & Energy
Commission, a member of the Arlington County Human Rights Commission,  and
president / chair of the board at a federal credit union. Prior to NEA she professionally

worked for the NAACP and Procter & Gamble, and on “Capitol Hill” and "Wall Street." 
Over the years, she delivered scores of publications, speeches, workshops, training
programs and webinars; and received several honors and awards. 

 

She continuously uses her experiences and Harvard Law School, Hague Academy of 
International Law, and Fisk University formal education. Says Marilyn, “Turning
houses into homes takes many skills; like gardening, the best yield takes time to mature.”
